The Company:
The Euticals story began with the takeover of the chemical division of Istituto Chemioterapico Italiano in 1984. Today, there are 75 people employed in Lodi. The total reactor capacity is about 200,000 litres. In the existing pilot plant reactions can be performed on a scale of 50 to 3,000 litres.
Euticals focuses on producing active ingredients for the pharmaceutical and nutritional industry as well as on custom syntheses. Recently, Euticals has developed a number of nutraceuticals including deacylated Lecithine compounds (GPC, GPE, GPI) and sulphated and acetylated sugar derivatives.

With the acquisition of CBB, Diaspa, ProBioSint and Prochisa, Euticals is determined to strengthen and develop its position in the pharmaceutical market segment. With the foundation of the new Euticals Ambrosia division a further goal is to make a wide range of available key technologies much more available for custom synthesis service than in the past.
