The Company:
Medichem is a privately owned Spanish company specialising in the manufacture of APIs for the pharmaceutical industry, and offering contract-manufacturing services.
The modern multipurpose production site, located in the Northeast of Spain, is regularly inspected by the FDA and operates under cGMP. The most recent FDA inspection was conducted in April 2002 and no form 483 was issued. Medichem exports fifteen different products to the US market and has submitted more than 30 Drug Master Files to the FDA.
Specific Strengths:
- To provide analytical and regulatory support beyond the API itself.
- To offer access for generic finished products for Europe and the US through its affiliate Combino Pharm.
