The Company:
The company was founded in 1962 and is a member of the Belgian Tessenderlo Group. Farchemia produces various pharmaceutical and veterinary intermediates and bulk products.
The company has modern production facilities, excellent quality control programms and a workforce composed of experienced personnel and highly qualified technical and research staff.
95 % of its production is sold on foreign markets. In 1979 the company was approved by the FDA, expanding its market to the USA under DMF type I 3802 and passed all the successive FDA visits. The factory is also constantly inspected by the Italian Ministry of Health.
Farchemia follows all GMP recommendations and fulfills the manufacturing quality standard of the FDA. It has both dedicated and multipurpose plants. The company production facilities undergo contstant updating. High capacity engineering enables the company to design and build in-house equipment.

Further Valuable Information:
All synthesis processes are carried out in its wide range of glass, stainless steel and enamel reactors from 100 to 30.000 litre capacity. The overall reaction volume is about 850.000 litre.
One of the company's main assets is a modular concept, facilitating ready adaption to the production needs.
Farchemia is able to perform reactions at temperatures from -20°C. to 290°C., pressure to 20 atm, vacuum up to 1 mm/Hg, inert atmosphere.
