Current Environmental Strategy:

- Replacement of a gas heating system with a modern heat exchanger in 2022.
- Reduction of site-related Scope 3 emissions.

- Promotion of bicycle commuting.
- Use of public transportation for business trips.
Goal: 100% renewable energy for all own sites.
Status: 100% renewable energy in Germany (~95% of total electricity demand).
Insight: Site-related activities account for less than 1% of our emissions. Greater accuracy in Scope 3 emissions will form the basis for improving our ecological footprint.
Midas Charity Run:
- Annual charity event in May, where we run, walk, swim, or cycle.
- Collected kilometers are converted into donations (1 km = €2).
- 15.000 € have been donated in 2024.
- Support for projects such as Yanomami-Hilfe e.V., Hoffnungswerk e.V., and "A Light for India."
