Girls' & Boys' Day at Midas Pharma
The Girls' and Boys' Day takes place every year. This year, three boys and one girl visited Midas Pharma to gain an initial insight into working life and were given a tour of the company to learn how and what work is done in the various departments.
The day serves as a career orientation. It should make it easier for the participants to decide on an apprenticeship or a course of study after school.
At Midas Pharma the students were given an insight into the project management, health care marketing for the LaVieCal products and the International Division, where cooperation between the headquarters and the worldwide locations takes place. When talking to colleagues from abroad, it quickly became clear how important it is to be able to speak English.

My Boys'Day at Midas Pharma
On April 3, 2025, I spent the Boys'Day at Midas Pharma, where my dad works. He gave me a tour of the company and I got to meet lots of his nice colleagues. First, we got something to drink and then we went into his office. I thought the height-adjustable desk was really cool - that was a real highlight for me!
Then we went to the meeting room, where there were comfortable chairs. We were shown and explained various company products. I found it exciting to find out exactly what Midas Pharma does. My dad then took us on a tour of the departments and explained who works here and what their tasks are.
We had beef goulash with dumplings for lunch - it was delicious! After lunch, we were allowed into the server room, where only certain people are allowed in. Then we went on to the lab. The current lab is 20 square meters in size, but a much larger one with 200 square meters is currently being built.
At the end, we went to another office building. There we were told how to organize things well, for example a birthday party. That was interesting because I learned how much planning goes into such events.
Overall, Boys'Day was really exciting and I learned a lot about working in a large company. Maybe I'll do something in this field in the future!
