Review of the 2025 International Quality Meeting
This month, the International Quality Meeting (IQM) brought together our quality management experts from around the world for a week of intensive professional exchange and strategic cooperation.
This year's event took place at the Wasem Winery in Ingelheim and provided an ideal setting for productive discussions and knowledge exchange. Participants from our international affiliates came together to discuss a wide range of quality-related topics, reflecting our ongoing commitment to excellence and innovation in quality management.
One focus of the conference was the continuous development and global harmonisation of our QM standards. Highlights included detailed presentations of our new laboratory facilities, which will add a wide range of services to Midas Pharma's portfolio later this year. Other key topics included quality control (QC), computerised system validation (CSV) and international GMP and GDP requirements, particularly in key regions such as China and India. The sessions also addressed practical applications in supply chain quality management (SCQM), simulated recall campaigns and data integrity strategies, including backup and recovery concepts.
Another important component was the open forum for system updates and best practices in data management, which culminated in an auditor calibration workshop – a cornerstone of our ongoing quality assurance efforts.
While the technical agenda took center stage, the conference also provided an opportunity for informal exchanges and intercultural interaction.
These moments helped strengthen global collaboration and team cohesion, reaffirming the shared goals that drive our work.
The IQM will take place every two years, with the next event scheduled for 2027. We look forward to continuing this important dialogue and further advancing our global quality standards.
