The Midas group, headquartered in Ingelheim am Rhein, looks back at three decades of successful business in the international chemical and pharmaceutical industry. With around 340 employees at eleven locations worldwide, the company has continuously expanded its expertise in the fields of fine chemicals, industrial chemicals, custom synthesis and technology transfer. In 2024, the Midas group generated a turnover of about 580 million EUR.
At Chemspec Europe the Midas Chemicals team presents its portfolio of industrial chemicals for different sectors.
Midas profits enormously from its quality organization and its network in the life science field, however it is no longer only active in the pharmaceutical sector but also the chemicals segment.
Industry-specific products, such as Sodium borohydride (NaBH4) solution for the paper industry, Hexamethyldisilazane (HMDS for surface modification or Methanesulfonic acid (MSA) for the fragrance industry play a key role in this.
Triflic acid has recently been added to the portfolio as a featured product, while there are already plans to launch Triflic anhydride as well. For the up-and-coming segments of battery technology Midas offers products in the current lineup as well.
Generally, Midas is always open to new, challenging projects with complex supply chain situations. Midas Chemicals takes care of the regulatory aspects and additionally ensures compliance for the customer by providing own REACh registrations.
