Collecting Miles for a good Cause!
Once again this year, the Midas Group's sportiest month starts on May 1st.
Between May 1st and 31st, the entire Midas team is invited to run, hike, cycle or swim. This year, the aim is to collect 6,000 miles (9,656 km).
Running miles count 100%, swimming miles count 4 times as much, cycling miles 50% and e-bike miles 30%.
We are highly motivated and are delighted to be supporting three projects with this campaign this year.

Sophia-Kallinowsky-Foundation
"At the Sophia-Kallinowsky Foundation, we have two goals. Firstly, to support research towards individualized, personalized cancer therapy for children, and secondly, to organize moments of happiness for children with cancer and their families, allowing participants to forget their fate, even if only for a short time. This is achieved, for example, through a visit to the "Mainz Rhine Spring festival" or an event with alpacas. All of this takes place at or in collaboration with the University Medical Center Mainz.
The donation from Midas Pharma flows directly into the Sophia-Kallinowsky Foundation Professorship, which is involved in research and the use of medications in individualized cancer therapy at the University Medical Center Mainz. Specifically, the money is used for the expenses of commissioning a 3D medication printer. With this highly innovative technology, we are among the world's leading players in this field. On behalf of the Sophia-Kallinowsky Foundation, I would like to sincerely thank Midas Pharma and the Midas employees who are so actively committed to this good cause."

Help for Ukraine
"We are a volunteer initiative from Münster-Sarmsheim that, through a Ukrainian caregiver, has established contacts with a children's hospital in Kyiv as well as orphanages, animal shelters, and other facilities in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the war, we have been able to send our financed small transporter over 40 times with relief supplies to the recipients we know. These relief supplies have so far included discarded fireproof clothing and equipment from the volunteer fire brigade, wheelchairs, some power generators, as well as medications and medical products (e.g., bandages, bandages, hygiene articles, and incontinence supplies for young and old), food and dietary supplements, and much more. Thank-you pictures from the recipients reach and motivate us again and again to continue our work.
With the support of Midas Pharma, we want to create the basis for the now "aging" transporter to last a little longer (or be replaced) so that we can send even more power generators and medical products that are urgently needed. We are infinitely grateful for the support from the Midas team and hope for motivated, trained, and enduring participants."

Integrative Support Center for Humans and Horses in Sport and Therapy Rhein-Main e.V.
"The "Integrative Support Center for Humans and Horses in Sport and Therapy Rhein-Main e.V." promotes, organizes, and supports the integration of people with intellectual, physical, psychological, and emotional impairments through the use of horses. People without impairments are also welcome. The donation from Midas Pharma is intended for our integrative vaulting team, which will participate in the Special Olympics Germany (SOD) in Hanau in June. In the past, the team has celebrated great successes at the Special Olympics, not least due to the training with the Clown Doctors (www.clown-doktoren.de). The Clown Doctors come to us every year to help the athletes with impairments practice aesthetic sense, body control, and imagination through small role-playing games and improvised theater. The results amaze us every time, as this training has a very positive impact on vaulting itself, especially in the freestyle, which requires imaginative effort from each individual.
Therefore, we would like to use the donation to finance the Clown Doctors."
Eva Borst, 1st Chairwoman
We are very pleased that the company management is enabling this great project once again and, of course, we hope for many enthusiastic participants among the Midas employees worldwide.
We are confident that together we can collect 6,000 miles!
