1. Contact Form

If you use the Contact Form provided at this website to contact Midas, the personal data you provide there will be processed by Midas when sent to Midas. The processing is carried out solely for the purpose of responding to the specific request you have made. Personal data which are no longer required to fulfil this purpose will be deleted at the latest six months after answering your request.

  • Other tracking tools (technologies) for statistical purposes

    Your consent provided, our website uses the web analysis service of Kyto GmbH, Bundesallee 23, 10717 Berlin, Germany (“Kyto”).

    This may involve the collection, processing and storage of data which are used to create user profiles based on a pseudonym. These user profiles are completely anonymised whenever technically possible. The data collected may also include personal data and will either be transmitted to Kyto or collected directly by Kyto. No personal identification of users of this website takes place and no other personal data are merged with these user profiles. If your IP address is collected, it is compared with public IP databases and analysed accordingly. This enables Kyto to identify your company (legal entity), if applicable. Your IP address will be anonymised immediately after matching by deleting the last block of numbers.

    Kyto may use information obtained from visits to our website to create anonymised user profiles. The data of Identified users, using a company IP, are enriched with concrete, non-personal company data. This includes company name and address, industry and company size.

    This website uses the YouTube embedding function of the provider "YouTube", which is part of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"), to display and play videos.

    Our website uses YouTube's extended data protection mode, which, according to the provider, only starts storing user information when the video(s) is/are played. At the moment the embedded video is started, YouTube uses cookies to collect information about user behaviour. These cookies can be prevented by appropriate browser settings and extensions.

4. Legal Basis

If you have contacted us via the contact form or have given your express consent to the use of Statistics Cookies (see Statistics Cookies), your data will be processed on the basis of the provisions of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“Basic Data Protection Regulation” or “GDPR”). In all other cases, the processing of the personal data collected by us as a result of your use of this website is based on the provisions of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) of the Basic Data Protection Regulation, the so-called balancing of interests clause. Justified interests of Midas are the initiation or maintenance of business relations with you, the analysis, optimisation and the operation of this website, as well as the review and assertion of our or third parties’ rights in case of a violation of legal regulations or the terms of use for this website.

5. Deletion of Data

We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the specific business purpose or purposes for which it was collected. If you exercise your right to object to data processing, we will delete the data collected in each case without delay.

We may have to keep some data for a longer period of time due to official regulations. In such a case, we will ensure that your data is only used to fulfil these obligations and not for other purposes.

6. Transmission of Data to Third Parties

If necessary, we transfer the personal data collected from you to companies of the Midas Pharma group. As far as the recipient companies are located in non-EU states we have agreed upon standard data protection clauses with these companies, branches or representative offices in accordance with the regulations, directives and guidelines of the European Commission.

8.1   Rights to information

You have the right to request information about your data stored by us. If you have provided personal data on the basis of a contract or consent, you have the right to receive this data in a standard and machine-readable format.
