Dr. Oliver Freichel introduces himself - the new Managing Director in an interview

Mr Freichel, on behalf of the entire company, we are delighted that you have been steering the fortunes of our Midas Healthcare GmbH as Managing Director since 18 July. Would you like to introduce yourself briefly and tell us something about your career to date?

Thank you very much. I am also very pleased to open a new chapter in the Midas success story. Some colleagues probably already know me from my previous activities in the pharmaceutical industry. In my previous positions, I had, among other things, global responsibility for business development activities in the area of consumer health care products. I was also responsible for OTC marketing in Japan. After some time of waiting, I joined Midas a short time ago.

A very exciting career - we are more than pleased that you will be using your expertise to build up the B2C and direct-to-consumer business. Mr Freichel, what are you particularly looking forward to in your new activities at Midas?

With this step in the direction of B2C, Midas is breaking new ground and building up another business segment that will further strengthen Midas' future viability and independence. This transformation requires a powerful team. The B2C project team has already been working on a strategy for months, which will now be finalized together in the next few weeks - of course in addition to all the other tasks associated with founding a company.  I particularly enjoy being part of this dynamic team, always with the goal of bundling all capacities and providing direct support to our customers and consumers.
