Midas Turkey: Representative Office
The Representative Office of Midas Pharma Turkey is one of the more recent establishments of our company in a foreign country and located in Istanbul. Placed in a modern office building, it is close to the beautiful Marmara Sea, not far from Atatürk Airport (15 minutes drive) and only 40 minutes from the new Istanbul International Airport. The efforts to develop the Turkish market for Midas were started in January 2019.
Our office is headed by Inci Ayyildiz, a long-time professional in the pharmaceutical industry, working for international players (GSK, AstraZeneca) in Turkey and abroad in their headquarters as well as for numerous local companies such as Abdi Ibrahim, Bilim, Deva, Mustafa Nevzat/Amgen (today Gensenta) and Pharmactive in various functions taking senior multinational responsibilities.
The focus of the Midas-operation in Turkey is manifold and comprises of the dossier development with Turkish partners and FDF out-licensing to customers in the EU and USA, the distribution of high quality APIs in Turkey, projects with CMOs in Turkey to serve our clients in the regulated markets and, last but not least, the out-licensing of Midas own or third party FDFs to customers in Turkey, eventually including a tech transfer.
