Korea: Life Sciences & Biotechnology“ Event

In a lively exchange with the visitors of the event, we discussed the growth plans of Celltrion, Samsung and SK, as well as the numerous start-up companies. It is clear that Korea is significantly expanding its production capacity and becoming a world leader.
Furthermore Korea is increasingly developing innovative biopharmaceutical products entirely in-house in addition to biosimilars. The newly created location of Songdo in the city of Incheon is becoming a growing important hub of the Korean biotech industry, where well-known companies from the USA and Europe are settling as well as various local companies.
For German enterprises in particular, further business opportunities are emerging, e.g. in the field of laboratory services, raw material supplies and contract manufacturing.

Midas will continue to be involved in Korea's flourishing biotech sector and in deepening business relationships between our two countries.
