Inquiry

Azacitidine is a synthetic nucleoside, chemically it is a triazine derivative, biochemically it is an analogue of the nucleoside Cytidine. Because it is used by the body's own enzymes for biosynthesis, it is especially used in active cells. Infitting Azacitidine instead of Cytidine can lead to chain breakdown and other problems. Therefore, it is used as a cytostatic in the chemotherapy of malignant diseases of the blood-forming system, which cannot be treated by a stem cell transplant.
