CEFIC & EFCG Membership Midas Pharma
Effective April this year, Midas Pharma joins as a member of CEFIC, the Brussels-based association of the European chemical industry. CEFIC was founded in 1972 and represents the political interests of the chemical industry on a European level, which accounts for 1.1 million jobs and about 15 % of the worldwide production of chemicals.
Within CEFIC Midas Pharma commits itself especially to the European Fine Chemicals Group (EFCG), the industry sector group initiated in 2004. Midas Pharma joins as 39th industry member of that group. Two employees will take the lead: Dr Danielle Leone-Stumpf, Senior Director Strategic Intermediates at Midas Pharma, has been nominated to participate. As a member of the Pharmaceutical Activities Committee (PAC), she helps to support the committee's goal of ensuring the availability, affordability and appropriate choice of pharmaceuticals. Dr Peter Markus, Senior Director Marketing & Sales, got nominated to join the FAME committee, which represents the interests of European producers and contract manufacturers of agro- and fine chemicals.
