Midas is growing, even during the exceptional situation of the last few months, the company has welcomed many new faces. Despite the special circumstances, Midas Pharma wants to make the start in the company as pleasant as possible.
Those who started at Midas in the last 1 ½ years did not always have the opportunity to start their new job directly in the Midas premises. Some colleagues were only able to move into their workplace under strict Corona conditions, while others started their new job directly in the home office. There are much easier situations to enter a company and get to know the new environment.
For this reason, Midas has launched a get-to-know-you theme week under the "3G Corona Rules" and with the appropriate distance. The theme week started with a get-together. All new colleagues and the management took part. An important meeting to get to know the company and the different business areas, but also to find out about the personal interests and hobbies of the colleagues. All in all, it was a successful event, which was not only interesting for the "pharmaceutical industry newcomers", but also for the colleagues who were already working in the industry, who were able to get a good overview of the company divisions.
After the event, the so-called "Midas Rally" started, a multifaceted questionnaire containing interesting questions about the company. The aim of the rally was to get to know as much background information, business areas and colleagues as possible in order to get the answers to the not always easy questions.
To conclude the theme week, an after-work event was held on Wednesday with all Midas Pharma employees. With sunshine, cold drinks, sausages from the grill and delicious ice cream from the ice cream van, everyone got together in the open air. The winners of the Midas Rally were crowned and the theme week came to an end with nice conversations.
The goal of the events - to give the new faces a proper welcome and integrate them well into the company despite the corona-related restrictions - was exceeded in the end. Reason enough to firmly integrate the getting-to-know-you activities into the onboarding activities in the future!
